7th March 2025

Our annual pruning day for the Castle Wood roses.

Nine volunteers gave their time, and completed the entire garden with time to spare. Pruning the roses to a consistent height should encourage a delightful bloom this summer. The off-cuts will be taken away as they don't compost well.

We then moved the excess woodchip, depositing half under the picnic tables, and half has been stored for future use.
