Residents like Dunnock and Robin will be joined by summer visitors such as Whitethroat and Swallow. All busy getting partners, defending territories and feeding their offspring.

Spring Family Explorer

Families with primary-aged children are invited to join Sue to explore the woods around Severndroog Castle. The woodlands might be muddy, but they are still fun to explore.
Through lots of sensory games and activities the colours, smells and sounds will be brought to life helping us to discover the amazing variety of plants and animals at this time of year.

Join Laurie and other enthusiasts for a guided walk through Oxleas Woods. The spring flowers should be at their pea. Expect to see the cuckoo flower, the bluebell and many others. Observe how the conservation work done by volunteers is proving opportunity for more species to grow.
