We will announce walks as they are confirmed.

  • Bats

  • Trees

  • Fungi

  • Birds

  • History of the Woods

  • Conservation of the Woods

All our walks are free to attend, but we welcome donations to help with the administration costs of running FOW. Walks are advertised to members before being advertised on social media. Find them first on Eventbrite here.

Exploring the Fungi in Oxleas Woodlands

Sunday 2nd November, 10am

Discover the hidden world of fungi in the enchanting Oxleas Woodlands – a unique adventure awaits!

Join expert Zak for an interactive stroll around Oxleas Woodlands, with the emphasis on finding fungi of all types and trying to identify them, rather than finding edible species. This walk will be led at a leisurely pace to allow us to ask questions and discover a wider variety of fungi across the woodlands.

Booking is essential for all walks.
